First Day: September 8, 2026 | Chappell Hill, TX
A Christ-centered, learner-driven school where every child discovers their God-given calling through the adventure of education.
Our Mission
Mastering the tools of critical thinking, reading, writing, and mathematics through self-paced, mastery-based progression.
Real-world projects, apprenticeships, and hands-on quests that build competence and confidence for life beyond the studio.
Character formation rooted in Scripture. Developing integrity, courage, and servant leadership grounded in faith.
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
— Ephesians 2:10
Providence Academy exists to equip young people with the knowledge, character, and faith to discover their unique calling and serve the world with excellence. We believe every child is created with purpose, and education should be the adventure of uncovering it.
Our Beliefs
We believe clear thinking leads to good decisions, good decisions lead to the right habits, the right habits forge character, and character determines destiny.
We believe self-directed, peer-to-peer learner-driven communities built by our young Heroes will deliver transformational learning at a cost all parents can afford.
Our Promises
At Providence Academy, promises are the foundation of our community. Every learner, parent, and guide makes commitments that shape our culture.
We promise, through Socratic guiding and experiential learning, to encourage each member of our community to:
Every child is created with unique gifts and a calling to discover. Through real-world challenges, Socratic discussions, and personal goal-setting, learners build the courage and perseverance to take ownership of their journey.
Learners take charge of their education by asking questions, solving problems, and following their curiosity. They set goals, track progress, and push themselves to master new skills.
Learners don't just study freedom — they experience it. They make real choices about how to spend their time, contribute to their community, and govern themselves. They learn that freedom comes with responsibility and see firsthand how their actions impact others in a civil society.
A deep appreciation for beauty, creativity, and the unknown enriches life. Through art, nature, stories, and scientific exploration, learners cultivate a sense of wonder, deepen connection, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Every learner has unique gifts and interests. Through real-world challenges, apprenticeships, and meaningful work, learners discover who they are and how they can use their gifts to serve others in a way that brings them joy.
Give your best effort and celebrate life with joy, curiosity, and fun.
Step outside your comfort zone, face challenges with courage, and stand for what is right.
Own your mistakes and accept natural consequences — growing stronger with each experience.
Embrace challenges, learn from failure, and show your children that growth is a lifelong adventure.
Trust your child to take ownership. See character and habits as the foundation of learning.
Resist the urge to rescue. Trust the studio environment and see your child as a hero capable of courageous action.
Recognize effort, remove distractions, establish clear boundaries, and foster deep work and creativity.
What Makes Us Different
We combine the rigor of classical learning with the freedom of a learner-driven model — all anchored in Christian faith.
No lectures. Guides lead thought-provoking discussions that inspire learners to think deeply, ask hard questions, and form their own convictions.
Learning happens at school. Evenings are for family, play, church, and rest — the way it should be.
Multi-week challenges that solve real problems. Learners build, create, and present — developing skills no textbook can teach.
Older learners mentor younger ones. Younger learners aspire upward. Everyone grows in leadership and humility.
The Hero's Journey framework guides each child through challenges that build grit, integrity, and a heart for service.
Christ is the foundation. Scripture, prayer, and biblical worldview are woven naturally into every aspect of the learning journey.
A Day in the Life
Every day is an adventure. Here's the rhythm of learning at Providence Academy.
Warm welcomes, morning routines, and preparation for the day ahead.
The day begins with an inspiring story, a challenging question, or a moral dilemma that sparks deep thinking and lively discussion.

Our Commitments
These commitments guide how we operate, ensuring we stay true to our mission and continue to improve.
"You have a great deal of freedom, as long as you stay between these lines."
"These are the numbers you need to hit to be rewarded."
"You are important as an individual. You deserve to be nurtured and coached to reach your full potential."
We collect and share examples, testimonials, and experiments so each Guide has the tools, skills, and character required to succeed.
